Dominik Apolonio is a Black/Filipino artist from Baltimore, Maryland. The oldest of two brothers. Dominik was born and raised in Northeast Baltimore in an area called"Cedonia". As a child Dominik had always loved watching cartoons, listening to Gorillaz Demon Days, and drawing in class. He also secretly watched Howl's Moving Castle alone in the house during the summer of 2007. He owned a copy of "The Art of Howl's Moving Castle" ever since then and carried it with him to school.
Dominik's favorite colors are sky blue and orange. He still listens to the Gorillaz intensely while listening to Tyler the Creator as well. His favorite anime film of all time is "The End of Evangelion."
As an adult, Dominik is a self-proclaimed Illustrator. He had attended the Community College of Baltimore County as a fine arts major. He also worked as an art teacher for 3 years in the Baltimore City Public Schools system. He currently run's a small production company called, Studio Kannix. And hopes to that his dream of making movies, comics, and "making shit for a living." Comes true.
